Through photography and film Judy has worked on projects examining the elements, components of place and landscapes charged with both public history and personal memory. She has held artist’s residencies in the astronomical observatories of North and South America and UCL, London. Her recent exhibitions include Breathe at the Freud Museum, London, and Travelling Companions at the University of Cambridge. Beside installations and wall-mounted photographs, Judy’s book works explore movement, stillness and repetition. Her artist’s books have been acquired by numerous collections, including Tate, V&A, The New York Public Library, and her entire collection was acquired by The British Library. The film Raki’a was first screened at the Venice Biennale 2019 as part of Alive in the Universe Project.
